Even if you are not showing your dog why not come along to support the competitors. There's always refreshments available. It's a great opportunity to meet up with club members and see a multitude of Welsh Springers in one place. As we are located in Chepstow it's a great setting-off place to go and explore the beautiful Wye Valley - there's the famous Chepstow Castle and the wonderful Tintern Abbey is just 5 miles away. Why not arrange a dog walk with friends and family and drop in to see us at lunchtime or later on to see the awards of the day's champions.
There's always a warm welcome at our shows and it's the ideal place if you want to learn more about the breed - we look forward to seeing you there.

Miss Tina Smith (Isfryn)
In my late 20s I made the decision to stop working with horses so needed another outdoor hobby and was encouraged to take up dog showing. But what sort of dog?
I wanted a gundog I could work as well as show and after sitting around many a ringside I decided the Welsh Springer was the breed for me.
My first arrived in 1999, and within the next 12 months I had three.
I bred my first litter in 2002 with my affix ISFRYN. I have never looked back and I have been breeding and promotng dual purpose Welsh Springer Spaniels ever since. I am very proud that my dogs have been awarded KC Stud Book Numbers from both the field and bench.
I am very much looking forward to judging the WSSCSW Open Show and I would like to thank the club for the invitation
