This is one of our most popular destinations that's attracted plenty of members in the past, - so we thought "...let's do it all again".

Once again, this year it's been decided to have our yuletide, social gathering just after Christmas, on Sunday 29th, when we could probably all do with walking off those Christmas "excesses". All WSSCSW members (and guests and family) are invited to come along - with or without your dogs - to enjoy a lovely day out in this beautiful corner of Wales.
We will meet at Oxwich Bay Hotel at 10.30 am
We will meet at Oxwich Bay Hotel at 10.30 am, where parking is free, there will be a cup of tea or coffee while you wait in the warm for us to gather, and you can use the facilities, before we take the dogs for a walk along the beautiful Oxwich Beach towards Three Cliffs where there is a river for a bit of freshwater swimming. If you prefer, there is also a Pay and Display Car park right on the Beach that cost approx £4.50.
The tide should be on its way out at this time so there will be plenty of beach for the dogs to run about on but, of course, there's also some great sand dunes there too. People can do as much of the walk as they want or stay in front of the pub's log fire.
After the walk we plan to meet for some smashing pub-grub - so we can have a drink and/or a meal before heading off home with our, hopefully, worn out Welshies. We’re going to the King Arthur Hotel which is about 3.5 miles away from Oxwich - CLICK HERE TO SEE THEIR WEBSITE
If you intend eating at the King Arthur with us, then please book with them direct, (phone: 01792 390775) and say you're with the ‘Welshie Walk’ to ensure you get a table all in the same room.

Please make sure you dress appropriately for the weather and terrain.
If you are using SatNav, the postcode of the Oxwich hotel is SA3 1LS – which takes you to the centre of the village, so make sure you look out for the sign to the hotel.
Parking at the Hotel is free as long as you buy something there.
The public car park on the left just before the hotel is £4.50 for the day so we certainly recommend the hotel car park.
