ALAN REES - SAD NEWS   

It is with the greatest sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Alan Rees, husband of our Club President and Chairman Jan Rees.

Alan sadly passed away on Thursday 16th June 2022. He was one of the few remaining founder members of the Welsh Springer Spaniel Club of South Wales Club.

Together, Alan and Jan held the Typica affix, breeding WSS successfully since 1975. He rarely attended shows but Alan was always in the background helping to look after the dogs and supporting Jan with her showing and committee work . 

Alan was also joint member of the WSSC since joining way back in 1974.

He will be very sadly missed by all and we sincerely offer our condolences to Jan, daughters Ceri and Sian and family. 

The family has released details of funeral arrangements as follows:

Wednesday, 6th July 2022 

12.15pm at St. Catwg’s  Church, Pentyrch, Cardiff.

Followed by cremation at 2.00pm, Thornhill Crematorium, Cardiff.

Family flowers only.
