181125 wsscsw seminar 045The club organised a Breed Appreciation Day held in the Village Hall at Dingestow near Monmouth on Sunday 25th November 2018.

The seminar was organised in accordance with the Kennel Club Code of Best Practice for the Running of a Breed Appreciation Day and included a multiple-choice Breed Standard Examination.

Over 30 delegates attended. They were treated to a presentation by Stephen Pick and had “hands-on” sessions with a selection of dogs kindly “donated” for the day by their owners. And, of course, the club’s committee members Sue and Anita provided lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

Kennel Club Breed Education Co-ordinator, Pat Butler-Holley, oversaw the proceedings together with the club’s organising committee.

We believe everyone had a great day – and, despite it being very hard work, the committee look forward to hosting similar days in the future.
