Arlene Tester – Sad News
It is with great sadness that the Welsh Springer Spaniel Club of South Wales have learned about the the passing of Arlene Tester (Avilt) – the news was shared by our sister club SEWSSC.
Arlene was a special person who had a wealth of knowledge, focusing her passions on health related concerns of the breed and serving the clubs for many years.
We were proud to host Arlene to judge at our Championship Show in March 2024. She will be missed by those who knew her. Condolences are sent to the family, friends and all those who had the privilege to know Arlene.
The funeral details are as follows.
Arlene's funeral will take place on 13th May at 1.30pm at Barton Woodland Burial Ground, Comberton Road, Barton, CB23 7BA. If travelling via the M11 the nearest exit is junction 12.
There will be a grave side service. No flowers - donations can be made to the Canine Genetics Centre. The Canine Genetics Centre are setting up a Just Giving Page in Arlene's name to accept donations.
Refreshments will be served at the Lodge at Barton Woodland Burial Ground after the service.
