Club Springtime Gathering
For a Training Session and Fun Walk 

At Parc Penallta, Ystrad Mynach

Sunday 15th May 2016

We'll start the day with a Fun Gundog Training session which is a very useful exercise to introduce younger dogs to the field - or to remind the older dogs what they should be doing. Come along and have a go, even if you never intend to work your Welshie, it's great fun and very useful for basic obedience training and to socialise your dogs.

We will meet at 10am for a 10.30am start, probably splitting puppies/novice dogs into groups.

A hot lunch of soup/roll will be available from 12.00 noon and then we will enjoy a group walk through the fabulous scenery of the Parc taking in the giant sculpture of ‘Sultan’ the pit pony, one of the UK’s largest figurative earth sculptures, and up to the High Point Observatory before returning to our "Base Camp" for a cuppa and cake to round of the day. It's useful if you can bring your own foldup chairs to gather around our Gazebo.

If you just want to come along and do the walk then that's fine, we will endeavour to walk from around 1.30pm and it will be at a leisurely pace.
