Kennel Club Challenge Certificate – Bitches

Judge: Mr David Howarth (Arkview)

A great honour to be invited to judge a well-organised club show in the breed’s homeland. Many thanks to the committee for the warm welcome. It was a super venue and good to hear warm applause greeting the winners. I was pleased with the presentation and temperaments of the bitches here. The Limit and Open classes were full of quality. Best In Show, on the referee’s decision was Harrison’s Glenbrows Revolution. Best Puppy and Best Veteran went to the girls, Nyliram Telling Tales and my CC winner, Sh Ch Bushwacker Something About Mary.

BEST IN SHOW LINEUP

220206 wsscsw champ show 022 489 crop

After some deliberation Judges Rowland Webb and David Howarth decided to call on Referee Anita Shears to judge the finalists for Best in Show who added the following note for her decision.

I was honoured to be invited to be the referee for this show and extend my thanks to the committee.
It was lovely to have my hands on some quality welsh springers who were presented in excellent condition, which made my decision very hard. On the day, for me, the dogs just edged it on overall movement and ring presence.

Judge: Anita Shears (Stormlyne).
