Virtual Presentations & Celebrations 2020
Club President Debbie Roberts usually has the job of presenting the various club trophies that are awarded annually at our Championship Show – but this year, due to the coronavirus restrictions we had to cancel the Champ Show and were therefore obliged to make the presentations as a ‘Virtual’ Trophy to each of our winners.
Many congratulations to all the winners, and we look forward to meeting you all next year.

Tregwillym Points TrophyAlso known as the Cliff Payne Trophy, this trophy is awarded to the Club member who has gained the most points with the same dog throughout the year. This year’s winning dog was Glenbrows Temptress, owned by Tim and Honor Harrison (The photo shows Glenbrows Temptress winning the Junior Bitch Class at our Open Show in July 2019) |

Wyesider TrophyThe Wyesider Trophy is awarded to the Top Dog or Bitch born in Wales. Awarded this year to Sh Ch Sarabande Eternity at Slapestones JW (ai) owned by Thelma and Dawn Ritchie (Photo shows the lovely silver platter that is the Wyesider Trophy) |

Silver Pheasant Working TrophyThe Silver Pheasant Working Trophy was awarded for the second year to Tina Smith with Isfryn Peeping Tom JW. Last year Tina said “What an amazing year with ‘Pete’ and the Isfryn dogs once again proving the dual-purpose of the breed” (The photo, kindly supplied by Tina, shows Isfryn Peeping Tom at work) |
Other AGM news
Mrs Debra Roberts completed her interim period as Treasurer, and at the AGM Mrs Karen Lancett was elected as the new Treasurer.
Mrs Jan Rees was elected a Life Member to recognise her hard work, dedication and commitment to the club for over 40 years, as a founder member of the South Wales Club.
